Most projects deal directly or indirectly with providing educational programs to underprivileged youth and disadvantaged communities. It is essential that the business intern understands this commitment, respects our goals as a social enterprise, and helps to facilitate our prevailing social agenda.
The focus of the internship will be on monitoring and managing existing projects; to ensurethat all operations are running effectively. However, interns will undoubtedly have the opportunity to take part in other departmental responsibilities relevant to SOLS 24/7. This may include community work, designing brochures, leadership training, as well as organizing and participating in promotional events.
Upon completion of the internship, the participant will have gained valuable insight into the structuring and management of a successful NGO operating throughout South-East Asia. The intern will have played a vital role in the fast-paced expansion that the organization is undergoing and gain experience in most areas of management, structuring, and organizational logistics. They will also develop a very comprehensive insight into local cultural and social practices.
