Internship Description:
To help plan and manage all publicity or promotional events, internal information programs, or public information programs for Voices for Sudan. You will assist in promoting the face of VFS; maintaining a strong and positive public image, and a consistent level of visible activity.
Responsibilities:
Plans and directs advertising
Social Media Upkeep (Facebook, Website, Tumbler)
Writing Press releases
Promotional campaigns and strategies
Develops media relations policy
Directs the production of printed publicationsWrites materials for and directs the layout of informational materials such as newsletters, bulletins, pamphlets, directories, and posters
Coordinates ceremonies, press conferences, and other events or special projects.
Qualifications:
We are seeking current Undergraduate or Masters students studying Marketing or Communications looking to gain experience in their field. An interest and or knowledge of the social and political issues of Sudan is a plus. The successful candidate will have experience with social media, creating newsletters, and writing press releases. They will be diligent, thorough, and hardworking.
