KANAHAU'S SECOND SEASON ANNOUNCEMENT**
Are you looking for that special internship?
An exciting, interesting and rewarding experience abroad?
Are you looking for research opportunities?
Would you like to work on a Caribbean island with a high biodiversity of flora and fauna, including several endemic species?
This season we continue our work with the endemic and critically endangered Ctenosaura bakeri, expand our bat project to include new equipment and field trips to the other islands, data collecting for the study on the snakes of Utila as well as developing further our work on the islands insects. We will also be introducing several new studies including a GIS mapping project of the island and a new set of behavioural studies of the two species of anolis endemic to Utila, Norops utilensis and Norops bicaorum.
We offer several options such as PADI dive courses, Spanish language classes, river rafting in La Ceiba, trips to La Mosquitia and GIS courses. Check out our website for all current options.
