Are you looking for an opportunity to make an impact? Would you like to work directly with survivors of domestic violence? DVRP is currently searching for a spring intern for the Advocates Program.
Recognizing that A/PI survivors of domestic violence have a variety of needs in order to attain safety for themselves and their children, the DVRP Advocates Program provides direct assistance on an individual level, with special consideration for cultural and linguistic needs.
This unpaid internship lasts from late January/early February 2013 until May 2013, but dates can be somewhat flexible. Interns should have availability during DVRP's business hours (Mondays-Fridays 10am-6pm), and some weekend hours as needed. Interns are required to commit to at least 10 hours per week.
Please submit a cover letter, resume and contact information for 3 professional references (including e-mail and phone number) to firstname.lastname@example.org. Applications will be accepted on a rolling basis, with priority consideration given to applications received before January 4, 2013.
