Créé le : 12 sept. 2011
"e" inc. - the environment science learning and action center, located in Boston, is seeking interns for the summer and/or full-year periods to work on projects related to the development and external communications of our small, growing non-profit organization. Some time on site is a must.
About the Social Media internship:
Intern applicants should have demonstrated academic or professional experience in some of the following areas:
-writing and editing for public relations (i.e. press release or advertisement posting)
-good organizational skills
-social media and blogging
Experience with or understanding of non-profit organization functionality and/or environmental interest is helpful but not required.
We are willing to support an academic credit internship, but we also allow internship participation purely for professional/personal enrichment. We expect the same degree of commitment and professionalism regardless of your motivation to intern.
Internships at "e" inc. are well suited for students studying communications, public relations, marketing, media arts, etc.
Interns will work directly with "e" inc.'s Executive Director, Dr. Ricky Stern, as well as the office manager, and will also interface with other staff, interns, and occasionally the board of directors.
We ask for at least 10 hours a week from all interns.
In the fall, we will have two intern teams, each with three or four members. The intern teams will have two separate foci.
