Magnet Schools of America (MSA) is offering a 6-12 month internship for a driven and enterprising intern to work at our national office located in Washington, DC. Magnet Schools of America is an association of over 2,000 members, representing over 4,000 magnet schools nationally. We work as advocates for the passage of legislation promoting school integration and funding for the Magnet Schools Assistance Program. MSA also establishes linkages with other professional organizations and encourages partnerships to support magnet programs. We support and serve the leaders and teachers of magnet and theme-based schools, while promoting the development of new magnet and public schools of choice. Our mission is to "Provide leadership for high quality innovative instructional programs that promote choice, equity, diversity, and academic excellence for all students."
This internship is unpaid, however, interns will receive a prepaid Metro Card for work related travel.
