Afterschool Adviser-Student Intern (Two Positions)
PoMP seeks two high school students to work as Advisers who will work closely with the Director of Afterschool Programs to test research for the development of an afterschool program model.
Specific work elements of the Adviser-Student Intern include:
- Advise Director of Afterscool Programs from a student standpoint
- Suggest how PoMP's afterschool program can improve and/or impact the quality of life of Harlem's Youth
- Testing similar models of afterschool programs and the outcomes of these programs
- Assistance in program evaluation design including filling out surveys and other evaluating tools for the programs
- Assistance in developing a list of necessary resources for Peace of Mind Projects' afterschool program
- Meet regularly with the Director of Afterschool Programs by phone, email, or Skype to discuss changes and updates
