Publié le : 23 nov. 2012
The National Iranian American Council (NIAC) now accepts applications for part-time and full-time video-editing interns for the Spring 2013 semester to operate out of NIAC's Washington DC office. Starting date is generally late January/early February for the Spring semester, and internships last for at least 10-12 weeks. NIAC will assist in helping interns get school credit, but positions are unpaid. The deadline for Spring 2013 applications is January 6, 2013, though applications will be reviewed/considered as they are received.
Qualifications: NIAC seeks video editors (both students and graduates) to produce videos about the effects of sanctions on the Iranian people. Strong video editing skills using video editing software are required (experience using professional editing software such as Final Cut Pro or Adobe Premiere Pro is strongly preferred). An orientation to U.S. foreign policy/sanctions toward Iran is preferred but not required.
Responsibilities: Video editors work in conjunction with NIAC staff on developing/producing videos which will be widely distributed via email newsletter and will be featured on NIAC's website.
Please email sphalsaphie@niacouncil.org your resume, cover letter, and a link to a sample of your video editing/production work.
