Location: 5805 Blue Lagoon Drive, Suite 170, Miami, FL 33126
Hours/Days Per Week: 3 days/week, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Length of Assignment: Three Months minimum, Fall, Spring or Summer
Preferred Degree: Psychology, Sociology, or Education
Internship Description: The purpose of this internship is to assist with increasing the number of listings in targeted categories of the Autism Speaks' Resource Guide by researching and submitting local resources for Miami-Dade and Broward counties.
The Resource Guide is a nationwide database that contains over 51,000 resources and provides individuals and families with local resources that service a variety of needs from early intervention through adult care. It is one of the largest databases of autism resources and service providers in the U.S., searchable by state or by zip code. Resources are organized in over 75 categories.

The South Florida Chapter of Autism Speaks provides an invaluable experience to interns wanting to have a hands-on experience in their field of study. The intern should look forward to multi-tasking, organizing, and adding their own creativity to the work they produce.
This internship is open during Spring, Summer and Fall semesters. We ask for a minimum commitment of 15 hours per week, with flexibility in scheduling.
