About NESRI: In partnership with communities, NESRI works to build a broad movement for economic & social rights, including health, housing, education and work with dignity. Based on the principle that fundamental human needs create human rights obligations on the part of government and the private sector, NESRI advocates for public policies that guarantee the universal and equitable fulfillment of these rights in the United States.

Internship responsibilities will include: press relations and media database development, copy editing and graphic design of print materials, routine website updates and blog postings, as well as work with podcasts, video, images and other new media tools. Responsibilities will be modified to suit the interests and skills of the intern.
Benefits: The intern will get hands-on experience with communications strategies in the non-profit sector and their importance in building and supporting the human rights movement.
Qualifications:
NESRI values a diverse workplace and encourages students with non-traditional experiences and from historically underrepresented groups to apply.
