Description du stage

ACCESS Youth Inc. (ACCESS) strives to meet each young person where they are –physically, emotionally and spiritually and to navigate their place in the juvenile justice system. It is a safe and supportive community where young people are given the opportunity to be creative, where they are given the tools and confidence to make better choices, to connect and collaborate with each other, their families and their community.

ACCESS, founded in 2009, provides at-risk youth with programming and resources to prevent them from coming in contact with the juvenile justice system, to open their minds to alternatives to delinquent behavior, and support them in making positive life choices. For juveniles who have been arrested and come in contact with the juvenile justice system, ACCESS offers alternatives to court and incarceration, ensuring that juveniles connect their criminal or harmful actions with consequences, be accountable, and take responsibility for their actions.
