Business Development and Fund-raising Intern - CIME

The Center for International Media Ethics CIME focuses on providing ethics training & awareness opportunities for journalists. This internship is a unique opportunity to gain experience with an international media group, reaching out to a wide & diverse range of institutions and foundations.
Duties include but are not limited to:
- Spread information about our journalism courses worldwide,
- Solicit funding for our conferences and events;
- Look for and establish contact with potential partner organisations and donors;
- Attending media ethics events, depending on opportunities that arise during the period of your internship;
- Assist the organisation of the 3rd International Media Ethics Day worldwide and on the internet.
Academic credit may be possible and a good learning experience with a young, dynamic team is guaranteed.
Qualifications:
- Professionalism;
- Good writing skills in English, other languages welcome;
- Strong organizational and communication skills;
- Excellent presentation and negotiation skills;
- Self-confident and convincing;
- Business/marketing/sales background is an asset;
- Must have own computer with internet connection.
This is an online home based internship with flexible part-time hours, duration 6 months extendible. Expected time worked: 10-15 hrs/month. This is an unpaid position.
