Through research, financial efforts and outreach, LiVelocity empowers gay, bisexual, and same gender loving men of color, encourages them to live their lives openly, provides education, advocacy, & social support services, and seeks to change the hearts and minds of others to the side of equality. LiVelocity will also provide funding support for initiatives that empower LGBTQ persons in urban communities.
We are looking for a creative, motivated and energetic individual who has demonstrated strong communication skills to fulfill this role.
Your primary responsibilities and duties would include the following:
- Implement marketing and education plans to attract clients.
- Oversee design and production of marketing and education materials.
- Reach out to gay, bisexual, and same gender loving men of color.
- Place stories promoting Livelocity in local media.
- Carry out other communications, marketing, and outreach related duties as necessary.
- Maintain and build partnerships and coalitions with other LGBTQ organizations, government agencies, organizations, and businesses.
