Philadelphia FIGHT is a regional HIV/AIDS service provider and advocacy organization. We sponsor the Jonathan Lax Treatment Center, Philadelphia's largest HIV/AIDS clinical practice, along with clinical research and a one stop shopping model that includes case management, nutritional services, and complementary therapies. Our leadership program Project TEACH (Treatment Education Advocates Combating HIV) is an intensive nine week training program for HIV+ people who want to learn to manage their HIV, and to advocate for themselves and others. The Critical Path AIDS Project offers free dial up access to the Internet in three area codes, web pages, advertising free email accounts. The Youth Health Empowerment project reaches youth who are homeless, sex workers, or substance abusers on the streets of Philadelphia and through a drop-in center. The AIDS Library offers books, video's through six free computer labs throughout the region. We have a special emphasis on prison health care, and we serve many who are recently released. Our goal is to end the AIDS epidemic in the lifetime of those living with HIV now.
