Description

The Committee for Green Foothills is a regional grassroots organization working to protect open space throughout San Mateo and Santa Clara Counties. Founded in 1962 by citizens working to save the Peninsula foothills from sprawl, the Committee is dedicated to preserving the hillsides, forests, creeks, wetlands, agricultural land, and other open space of the Peninsula, South Bay, and Coastside through grassroots education, planning, and legislative advocacy.
