Burma Community Builders promotes peace and democracy in Burma by providing basic education to the world's most underrepresented people.

Education is powerfully correlated to poverty, violence, health, and democracy. Educating the world's poorest people has the power to fundamentally change society. We collaborate with local communities and governments in equal partnership to build our schools.

We provide every BCB school with materials, skilled labor, and financial support. Communities are equal partners in each project, and provide the manual labor and community-based management in order to ensure the longevity of the school.
