10x10 is a global campaign to educate girls in the developing world. Our goal, simply put, is to change the world by investing in girls. We know it's ambitious, but we believe it is possible. 10x10 has two principal components - a groundbreaking feature film that tells the stories of 10 incredible girls. And a global social action campaign which will turn ideas into action both on-line and in communities around the world. The social action initiative is already underway, and uses the stories gathered by our team and shared through partnerships, across platforms to drive change. The 10x10 film will be released in the Spring 2013. Both the film and the campaign drive home a simple message: that a global commitment to educating girls in the developing world will bring about transformational change.
Research and data consistently prove that educating and empowering girls is essential to breaking the cycle that keeps generation after generation trapped in poverty. We are telling this urgent and exciting story every place we can reach our audience. From social networks, to global events, to college campuses and everywhere in between.
And we're not doing it alone. 10x10 is putting everything we make – all our tools and all our stories tools – into the hands of individuals and organizations dedicated to creating change through education girls. These are leaders, corporations, non-profits. And we're not stopping there. Each story is tied tosubstantive and measurable actions - real actions that will start transforming the lives of girls today. 10x10 is an unprecedented opportunity for lasting, generational change for the girls, their families, their communities, their countries and the world. We aim to reach 1 billion people with 10x10 media and inspire 1 million actions on behalf of girls. Real, measurable goals with long-term sustainable impact.
