Description

Our mission is to lead the fight to treat and cure ALS through global research and nationwide advocacy while also empowering people with Lou Gehrig's Disease and their families to live fuller lives by providing them with compassionate care and support.

ALS, commonly known as Lou Gehrig's Disease, is a degenerative disease that causes total paralysis inevitably causing death within 2-5 years after diagnosis. Our service area is Minnesota, North Dakota, South Dakota, and Superior, WI. We offer free services to help people with ALS increase their quality of life and to fund research for a cure. Below is a list of our services. - Volunteer Program for People with ALS - Hrbek-Sing Communication & Assistive Device - Jack Norton Family Respite Care - Durable Medical Equipment Loan Pool - Patient/Family Consultation and Support - Special Events to Raise Funds - Education Resources - Support Groups - Newsletter - Advocacy - Research
