The Eugene Bell Foundation (EugeneBell), based in Clarksville, Maryland, is a not-for-profit organization founded by Dr. Stephen Linton, in memory of his great-grandfather Rev. Eugene Bell and his wife Lottie Witherspoon, who served as Christian missionaries in Korea in the late 1800's.
For over a century, Rev. Bell and four generations of his descendants have served in Korea and symbolize an enduring Christian commitment to the Korean people. Whether through evangelical activities or the establishment of churches, involvement in education through schools and universities, or providing medical services, the Bell family descendants have shown a life-long commitment to serving the people of the Korean peninsula.
EugeneBell's current programs are geared towards providing humanitarian aid, specifically tuberculosis medication, for the desperately ill in the Democratic People's Republic of Korea (North Korea), bridging the gap between donors and patients, and reflecting the Christian commitment and legacy of early missionaries to Korea.
