SMILE is one of the registered NGO from India ,working for the poor and needy kids.It is also the member of CCIVS,UNESCO & WANGO. Since 2003 it is working in the field of International Volunteerism and welcomed many International volunteers/Interns from around the world.
We have different projects for street , slum and underprivileged kids. We have volunteer opportunities from 2 weeks to 48 weeks where our volunteers can get scopes to work with the most needy part of the society. As a Volunteer you can gain a life time experience and make yourself involved with our welfare activities and can be the part of our movement.In our organization we treat all volunteers/interns as our family member .We received many Students, individuals, groups, seniors, families from the age of 16 to 84 yrs. Old. Many universities around the globe keep sending their students as an intern (ie: medical, engineer, social work, nursing and from many different fields) in SMILE.
It is a place where from volunteer can receive a close idea of Indian culture , tradition, dress core, food habits (all volunteers get the equal scopes to exchange their own culture ,food habits and tradition with us) ,it is a place where all culture and tradtion been equally treated.It is a great place for inter-cultural learning.
