Description

Capitol Hill Group Ministry (CHGM) is a vibrant community-based non-profit that links the Capitol Hill faith communities, concerned neighbors, government agencies, and local businesses to provide a holistic comprehensive support system for vulnerable individuals, youth and families on Capitol Hill and across the District of Columbia. Since 1967, our mission has been to promote understanding across racial, ethnic, class and theological lines; and sponsor programs that address the problems of homelessness, poverty and alienation. Today, we are still committed to "Serving the Community, One Neighbor at a Time." All of our initiatives reflect our primary goal: to empower vulnerable persons to move toward self-sufficiency and healthy interdependence.
