Bridges Public Charter School is an inclusive public school for students with and without special needs. Historically a preschool / pre-kindergarten program exclusively, we are now expanding into an elementary school program. The school will be adding a grade each year until reaching capacity with 5th grade in 2017-2018. For the 2013-2014 school year we will serve students in grades preschool – 1st grade.
Our mission is to provide an exemplary educational program that includes students with special needs. Our developmentally appropriate, student and family-centered educational approach will nurture students to expand their developmental skills, in order to build a foundation for life-long learning.
Bridges, the name of our school, symbolizes an inclusive learning community that builds bridges of understanding, awareness and support by connecting children and families with a variety of different needs, cultures and backgrounds.
