Description

The Women's Division represents United Methodist Women with approximately 800,000 members whose mission is to foster spiritual growth, develop women leaders and advocate for peace and justice. Guided by the principles of human rights for all persons, the organization has been working to better the lives of children and women and advocating for their rights in the U.S. and in more than 100 countries around the world. The organization of United Methodist Women, as part of the United Methodist Church, has been addressing issues of homelessness, hunger, poverty, racism, illiteracy, economic and environmental justice, war and peace, health care for families, and international conflicts.
