KIPP is a network of free open-enrollment college-preparatory public schools in under-resourced communities throughout the United States. There are five middle schools serving grades 5 through 8 and three high schools serving grades 9 through 12 located in the underserved neighborhoods of Bayview Hunters Point, Potrero Hill, and Western Addition in San Francisco, West Oakland, San Lorenzo, and East San Jose.
