Description

Collegiate Academies (CA) is an experienced New Orleans-based charter high school operator with a track record of success. Our founding school, Sci Academy, has achieved an elusive goal – we have closed the achievement gap for nearly every scholar who has walked through our doors. Students who arrive in the 9th grade between two and five grade levels behind pass the state graduation exam by their 10th grade year. In 11th grade, they enter Advanced Placement courses and as juniors more than half receive scores on college entrance exams that will earn full scholarships to state colleges and universities. Because of a great need for gap-closing high schools in the Greater New Orleans Region, Collegiate Academies will open two new schools in the fall of 2012.
