The California Academy of Sciences is a world-class, one of a kind institution that brings the whole Universe under one roof. The Academy is the only institution in the world to combine a museum, aquarium, planetarium, four-story rainforest, and world-class research and education programs under one living roof. This unique combination allows visitors to explore everything from the depths of a Philippine coral reef to the outer reaches of the Universe. The Academy is redefining what it means to be a natural history museum in the 21st century in its new state of the art facility in Golden Gate Park.
