À propos

Chatham University works to prepare its 2000+ undergraduate and graduate students in the fields driving tomorrow's economy – sustainability, health and lab sciences, business and communication, creative and design arts, and education. Chatham has a long history of commitment to global understanding, women's leadership, and the environment, and is the alma mater of environmental icon Rachel Carson.

Chatham is a private, selective, coeducational, fully accredited, nonsectarian institution, located on three unique campuses:

Shadyside – the University's historic, original location, situated on a 39-acre arboretum in the Shadyside neighborhood of Pittsburgh. The undergraduate program is based at this campus, as are many of our graduate programs.

Eastside – located one mile from the Shadyside campus near Bakery Square and the neighborhoods in Pittsburgh's East End, Eastside is a LEED Silver renovated industrial building, home to our graduate programs in occupational therapy, physical therapy, and physician assistant studies.

Eden Hall – located on a 388-acre farm in a northern suburb of Pittsburgh, Eden Hall is home to the Falk School of Sustainability. It is the world's first fully sustainable campus, and aims to emit zero carbon emissions, manage all waste and storm water on site, and produce more energy than it consumes.
