Description

The Initiative for Community Action (ICA) is a youth-focused community-based organization located in the heart of Mashimoni Village, Kibera. Our vision is to be the leading source of information, resources, and empowerment of youth in Kibera. Our mission statement is to facilitate, promote, and animate youth and other marginalized communities for development through civic participation, social responsibility, and information dissemination. Our thematic priorities include community engagement, youth empowerment, and civic responsibility. Our core values are committment, accountability, creativity, and team work.
