The We women foundation is dedicated to empowering unrecognized refugee women from Burma. By providing professional and educational opportunities to the strong women of Burma, the We women foundation strives to build capacity within the unrecognized refugee community so that women might make and influence policy decisions which are too often made by outsiders.

How does We women help women?

Higher education: We women assists those who have the ability to effect change in their communities through the award of scholarships and long-term support to a select number of qualified women.
Research on educational needs and gender issues within the unrecognized refugee community.
Advocacy to promote the rights of unrecognized refugees from Burma.
