Established in 2010 Kenya Voluntary and Community Development Project (KVCDP) is a non-governmental organization based in Nairobi,Kenya. KVCDP exists to contribute towards poverty alleviation, provision of quality education and health care, prevention of new HIV/AIDS infections, and addressing environmental issues in rural areas.

KVCDP aims at decreasing the impact of poverty by improving sustainable income generating activities, enhancing health care and providing education opportunities targeting the vulnerable and under privileged persons.

The organization is committed to the fundamental value and dignity of all individuals. We focus on accountability, gender sensitivity and maintaining an environment that respects diverse cultures, heritages and experiences.

KVCDP has stepped in to offer its services to orphans and vulnerable children, women, and youths. Currently, the organization serves a population of 5000 persons in urgent need of various services provided by the organization.

The services offered include:

-Early childhood education (ECDE)

-Feeding Program for children in school

-School accessory support

-Medical care (children in school)

-Community education and sensitization on prevention and behavior change

-Home visits and follow ups for children with special needs

-Income Generating Activity (IGA) for guardians

-Vocational training for older OVCs specifically tailoring

-Referrals and networking

The organization focuses on 3 core programs:Education,Livelihoods and Health allowing environmental issues to cut across all the three core programs.
