Description

Our mission is to open new doors in people's lives through creative and responsible design, development, and operation of service-enhanced affordable housing.

Abode Resident Services is dedicated to providing all resident families and individuals the opportunity to develop, grow and reach their full potential. We provide case management, subsidized child care, job skills workshops, parenting courses, computer labs, after-school enrichment, teen clubs, leadership development, health and nutrition education, English-as-a-second-language classes and recreational and athletic activities.

In our residential properties serving special-needs populations, we offer counseling and case management in addition to our other services. Residents at special-needs properties can include families escaping domestic violence, transition age youth (TAY) and formerly homeless individuals.

The goal of Abode Resident Services is to enhance the self-sufficiency and the independence of individuals and families. Enhanced services mean that individuals and families are more secure, stable and make progress up the economic ladder. For parents, these place-based services help their children stay healthy and perform better in school. Together, these programs and services help communities flourish.
