• As agents of change, we work to Improve Children's Worlds.
Internships and Volunteers The CCWF Internship Program has hosted many interns, from many different backgrounds. Interns have the opportunity to contribute to the cause of child rights protection and violence prevention while learning about the international field at both the global and domestic level while gaining an understanding of the issues based on the United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child. As the intership progresses and interns engage with CCWF intership projects, social media and reseach, they become familiar with the academic and practical pursuits of international child rights protection including the economic, political, cultural and societal contexts in which CCWF and all child rights organizations operate. Interns also play a significant role in increased social awareness of child rights issues through the social media avenues of Facebook and the CCWF website, where they actively discuss current global and domestic child rights' issues, and share activity and learning.
Through an internship at CCWF, volunteers gain valuable experience in many fields, as CCWF deals with child protection through a variety of lenses such as: social work, psychology, education, domestic and international law, business, and cultural practices.
Internships do require good writing and communication skills, a commitment of at least 120 hours dedicated to the organization, though this may be completed in a little as one or as long as six months depending on the availability of the intern.
