Shaping Destiny is a non-profit organization created to provide opportunities for those who feel called to serve the Lord in Africa the opportunity to volunteer in Africa. Shaping Destiny provides many different volunteer opportunities through Change Volunteers, such as serving orphans in one of our partnering orphanages, teaching in schools, working on the farm, counseling, medical care and much more. All of our volunteers receive training on how to properly care for the poor while serving hands on in Cameroon, Africa. The Missionary Training Program is a 16 week program that helps to equip you spiritually and knowledgeably for the mission field.
We also provide mission trips to Africa.During these trips, students have the opportunity to learn as they serve. We've found that many people who want to volunteer in Africa are not ready to work independently but benefit greatly from serving as part of a team that has a competent local supervisor. That is why we offer our training program mentioned above.
A hallmark of the work we do is to provide people with great volunteer experiences where they are able to serve with people who have the same passions, while offering the best prices.
Because we value and strive to serve the poor with as much wisdom and excellance as possible we have founded Austin Bible College. Our goal is to equip God fearing individuals for the mission field.
