Salvando Corazones ("Saving Hearts") is a non-profit organization focused on providing programs and safe houses for young girls enslaved in prostitution in Costa Rica.
It may be unbelievable to many that Costa Rica was flagged in 2008 by INTERPOL, as the fastest rising capital of sex tourism per capita and that child prostitution is so rampant in Costa Rica that there are signs at the airport explaining the dire consequences of engaging in this activity yet it's true! Young defenseless girls in Costa Rica deserve more than a sign at the airport. It is time for action and for more organizations to open their hearts and minds to finding and funding solutions to save the children of Costa Rica. We want you to work together with us to increase awareness of the problem, develop long-term solutions, and build group safe homes where young girls can safely live, receive counseling, training, and an education.
