Hmm... we couldn't find that place in our database.
Are you sure it's correct?
In 2009 I moved to Washington, DC and started studying Arabic at Georgetown. My long term goal is to work in the Middle East, applying my project management experience to international development projects. In the meantime I am seeking to apply my 15 years of IT experience working with a non-profit or NGO.
Before moving to DC, I lived in Atlanta, GA for 15 years, working in IT as a technical writer, systems analyst, and project manager. As a child I lived in Saudi Arabia, where I spent five years in Riyadh (1976-1980) and four years in Jeddah (1985-1988). In 1990, I worked in Jeddah as an intern for the Saudi Meteorological and Environmental Protection Administration (MEPA). This sparked my interest in environmental issues, including global warming and sustainable development. In 1991 I worked as an intern on the Gulf Oil Spill Cleanup Project in the Eastern Province of Saudi Arabia where I participated in field surveys of the impact of the oil spill and documented the cleanup efforts.
