My name is Amanda Chapin. I have a BA in History and Sociology. One of my passions is woman's rights. I feel it is a great injustice that women are still treated as second class citizens in our society. From volunteering with the Human Rights Campaign I came to realize why we need to take up the issue of gay rights. These are the two main causes that I am passionate about, I would love to work in either of these fields or simply doing work that I know would make a difference in society.

Despite having the necessary resources too many of our citizens are not given access to a good education or simply do not have equal rights. It's my passion ensure that is changed. I want to dedicate my life to improving the quality of others
