We are CVTD (Center for International Cooperation and Vietnam Talent Development) - a NGO, non-profit volunteer organization based in Hanoi, Vietnam, which was founded since 2012. We operate mainly in the fields of education, community eco-tourism and support of business startup.

CVTD is a member of the Vietnam Scientific Association for Development of Talents – Human Resources, with the support from Erasmus Ka2+ by European Union funding.

Our goal is to create short and long-term International Voluntary Projects to assist in long lasting community development, education and community eco-tourism; to exchange and explore cultures; broaden experiences and improve skills between Vietnamese volunteers and international volunteers. And, our purpose is linking people all over the World and helping develop human resource for sustainable development of the society.

MISSION: Create innovative educational services and community eco-tours, mobilize resources of international professionals and volunteers to implement effective educational models, study tours attract numerous participants to bring social benefits.

Voluntary and study tours for the development of community, education and environment are held in Vietnam with a mission to build global community events through community tourism and community education.

Promote investment and international cooperation for social development in big city, the mountainous communities and rural areas, protect the environment, promote the images and Vietnam people.

By expanding collaboration with international volunteering, expert human resource, organizations both within and outside Vietnam in order to establish a greater network of organizations, we will provide greater assistance to those areas in which humanitarian aid is needed.

HELP: We have an ongoing need for volunteers/internship from different culture backgrounds to reflect the rich diversity of the global community, who are united by their desire to help children and adults around the world.

We are looking for volunteers/internship who would like to share their time, English skills and expertise in other areas with the our staff and students in Hanoi and other provinces in Vietnam:

1. Teaching English & Culture Exchange in Hanoi:

  1. Program No.1. Teach English and living skills for immigrant children in outskirts of Hanoi.
  2. Program No.2. Teaching English (Blended Learning Program) in center of Hanoi: Building community together to speak English and travel experience in Hanoi.

2. Teaching English for rural/ethnic children, mountain area in Ninh Xuan village (Ninh Binh), Quynh Son village (Lang Son).

3. Social Work, helping disabled children in Hanoi: A social care center, where offers care, education, career advice and vocational training for mentally and physically impaired children.

4. Interns at CVTD's office: Internet Marketing (Digital) to search volunteers or travels; Community travel (Summer Camp, Workcamp,…) and "NYG Homestay Network"); Admin CVTD's social networking; Web developer; Coordinator Coffee Talk Club...

5. Homestay & Community Travel in Vietnam: NYG's homestay in Hanoi, Bac Son village (Lang Son province), Ninh Binh province, Sapa (Lao Cai province), Danang City or Ho Chi Minh City and explore nature, culture and the lives of native people.

Volunteers/internship will work 5 days a week, 5 hours per day.

We also have many cultural exchange programmers during every the weekends and we assist volunteers/internship who have free time with any other activities they would like to partake in - visits to the city of Hanoi and outlying provinces. We are on the bus route to many areas in and around Hanoi. Volunteers/internship will have time to experience local food, landmarks Vietnam, cultural exchange, visiting and purchasing Vietnamese gifts and travel around through interaction with the host family and local people. Volunteer/Internship will be joining the NYG Coffee Talk Club with the students, the youth of Hanoi.

We have got three homestay/and volunteer house in Hanoi, one in Ho Chi Minh city and homestay network in some province. One of which is in new center of Hanoi, the address is on No.47B (Bamboo house), Lane 32/48, Do Duc Duc Str., Nam Tu Liem Dist., Hanoi, Vietnam.

TEACHING ENGLISH & CULTURE EXCHANGE PROGRAMS Nhóm các chương trình dạy Tiếng Anh

We need English-speaking volunteers from all over the World to come and help us with our volunteer English teaching program to help children/students improve their English language skills and give them the opportunity to improve their lives. Volunteers will help children/students with English pronunciation, communication and listening skills. In addition to this, you will help us hold extra curricular activities for them, which will assist in developing their language usage skills.

1. Teach English and living skills for immigrant children in outskirts of Hanoi [Code: 12.001.EOH] Dong Anh Dist., and Soc Son Dist., outskirts of Hanoi. The locality is in the process of urbanization, and as a result of the establishment of Thang Long Industrial Park, Quang Minh Industrial Park,... which leads to mass immigration from nearby rural provinces. Migrant workers accounted for more than half the total number of immigrants in Dong Anh Dist., and Soc Son Dist.,

The programme aims at providing the children with basic English lessons and other extra activities including drawing, music and physical activities in leisure time. The children have 1 – 3 class per day, 3 - 5 days per week, each class lasts for 1.0 - 1.5 hours per day.

Volunteers will be living in the CVTD's volunteer house in Dong Anh District, 10km from Noi Bai International Airport and 15km from Hanoi Old Quarter.

1.1. Location: Dong Anh dist. / Soc Son dist., Hanoi, Vietnam 1.2. Help: - Teaching English at kindergarten, primary and secondary schools on the outskirts of Hanoi. - Training in English and career skills for students and youth workers in the Industrial Zone.

(*) Volunteers will do the following: - Write/prepare the lesson plans for every week/month including teaching aids (materials), games, and activities… - Teach the lessons. - Collaborate with teaching assistant to manage the class. - Give feedback and recommendation to management regarding students' performance - Give feedback and success stories on website about your experience volunteering with us.

1.3. Duration: From 02 weeks 1.4. Requirements: - Volunteers who are fluent in English and have excellent pronunciation and communication skills with English as a second language - Volunteer, who have teaching experience or have vast experience in volunteering in the field of education in different countries. - Prioritize native English speakers. - Strong inter-personal skills and experience in working with people, especially children and young adults. - Have a laptop for teaching, slide, video, game,…

1.5. CVTD Fees: (*) Management Fee is $50 non-refundable (Bank transfer or Paypal, after signed the contracting volunteers via email). (*) Program Fee: + Sort-term volunteer, less than 01 month: $70 per week + Long term volunteer, more than 01 month: $50 per week + Long term volunteer, more than 12 month: Free Fee

(*) Volunteer service includes the following: - Accommodation: Volunteers will be living in the CVTD's volunteer house in Kim Chung Commune (Bac Thang Long Industrial Zone), Dong Anh District, 10km from Noi Bai International Airport and 15km from Hanoi Old Quarter. ++ Volunteers share their rooms with other volunteers, using bunk beds ++ There is full internet connection in the accommodation.

- Meals: Two meals per day (Lunch and dinner). We do not supply breakfast, but we have full kitchen facilities which you are free to use.

- Transport from CVTD's volunteer house to the kindgarten, schools or center by bus or Grap moto. - Airport pick-up / drop-off at Noi Bai International Airport, Hanoi. - Various scenic visits with students.

- CVTD's staff is available 24/7 by Online/Telephone or in person to support and guide you. It is extremely safe in Vietnam and there is really nothing to concern about.

(*) Not included: - Flight tickets - Visa application fee in home country - Insurance of any kind. 2. Teaching English (Blended Learning Program) and travel experience in center of Hanoi [Code: 2016.002-BLP]. CVTD Vietnam have the purpose of developing English as a "Second Language" to communities in major cities. We provide Community English classes - Blended Learning Program to local children (from 4 – 11 year old), youth and adults at beginner and intermediate levels, as well as a drop in conversation group to improving English skills for Vietnamese by mobilizing qualified Native English speakers to help our English class in Hanoi. Volunteers will teach English in kindergarten, community classes in urban areas, schools…

2.1. Location: Center of Hanoi, Vietnam 2.2. Help: Teaching English for children from 4 – 11 year old in around of center Hanoi, students and youth in coffee club.

(*) Volunteer service includes the following: - Accommodation: Volunteers will be living in the CVTD's volunteer house in Me Tri Ha Village, which is covinient with The Garden shopping center, BigC Supermarket, many hotels, 5 stars - JW Marriott hotel, restaurants, bars, coffee shops, or Lotte cinema and Keangnam Landmark 72 – the highest building in Vietnam with 10 minutes walk, or My Dinh National Stadium, The National Conference Center, Hanoi Museum, Korean town… with 5 minutes walk.

++ The house contains a large living room, two bedrooms with two bathrooms, hot water in bathroom, and air conditioner in bedroom (from 10:00PM to 8:00AM in summer), a kitchen and a beautyful courtyard. ++ Volunteers share their rooms with other volunteers, using bunk beds ++ There is full internet connection in the accommodation. ++ The centre is approximately 45 minutes away from Hanoi's Old Quarter by bus, which only costs 7.000 VND for one way ($0,30).

3. Teaching English for rural/ethnic children, mountain area in Northern Vietnam [Code: 2012.003-TEE]. Ninh Xuan village (Ninh Binh), Quynh Son village (Lang Son) are poor mountain districts in Northern Vietnam. Almost all of the local population are ethnic people, who are semi-illiterate, and lack education. Most of these people are farmers with very low income, are living in difficult conditions.

While they are not unaware that children have rights to basic to education, nutrition, etc to ensure normal human development, many children are face great difficulty in education as their parents cannot afford to send them to a school. Large numbers of school-age kid drop out of school on completion of primary school because their parents feel it's enough.

Lessons for poor children will be free of charge for all fees - school fee, books, notebooks & school supplies depending on CVTD budget constraints. Because of this we would appreciate it if volunteers would teach some extra classes to assist in fundraising for this activity. 1.1. Location: Ninh Xuan village (Ninh Binh), Quynh Son village (Lang Son) 1.2. Help: Teaching English at kindergarten, primary and secondary schools. 1.3. Duration: From 04 weeks 1.4. Requirements: Native speaker or fully fluent in English. 1.5. CVTD Fees: Management Fee is $50 non-refundable (bank transfer, after signed the contracting volunteers via email); and Program Fee is 105$ per week.

(*) Volunteer service includes the following: - Accommodation: Volunteers will be living in the CVTD's volunteer house/homestay in Ninh Binh or Bac Son (Lang Son), that is some nice landscapes in Vietnam. - Meals: Two meals per day (Lunch and dinner). We do not supply breakfast, but we have full kitchen facilities which you are free to use. - Airport pick-up / drop-off at Noi Bai International Airport, Hanoi to CVTD's volunteer house in Hanoi. - CVTD's staff is available 24/7 by Online/Telephone or in person to support and guide you. 4. Social Work, helping disabled and autism children in Hanoi [Code: 2012.004-PTC] Phuc Tue care center offers care, education, career advice and vocational training for mentally and physically impaired children.

Their mission is to care for, educate, restore mental health, teach, and guide disabled individuals to enable them to find suitable jobs, build self-confidence and become more independent in their everyday lives. As they are absorbed into the community, their burden on their families in particular, and society as a whole, will diminish.

Besides early grade academic lessons, educational programs include physical education and therapy, yoga, painting and poetry.

1.1. Location: Center of Hanoi 1.2. Help: - Caring for and playing with disabled children. - Feeding the children during lunch time. - Initiating campaigns for donations of books, old clothes, old shoes for the children (depends on volunteers). - Help the center do gardening to provide food for the children. - Become involved in community and school-based projects.

1.3. Duration: No limit on duration 1.4. Requirements: - Initiative spirit and like to work with disabled children. - Creative and active in this particular working environment. - Having a medical background and/or experience in working with people with disabilities is advantageous. However, volunteers without experience will still be able to join with the guidance of teachers.

1.5. CVTD Fees: Management Fee is $50 non-refundable (Bank transfer or Paypal, after signed the contracting volunteers via email); and Program Fee is 10$ per day.
