The Be A Leader Institute Elementary (BLIE) Program was created to help students develop their leadership skills and build self-esteem all with a college focus for students in the Roosevelt School District. Students and mentors attend
monthly Saturday workshops where mentors help our program staff lead small group activities and discussions with the students.
Our mission is to provide our 7th graders in the program with positive role models to help them become college bound, focused and prepared! It is our goal that through interaction with our students, mentors are able to build long lasting relationships and promote a college going culture.
