Mission bénévole posté(e) par The New Hampshire Food Bank
Publié le : 16 août 2013
Fresh Rescue volunteers play a vital role in helping the New Hampshire Food Bank fulfill its goal of making nutritious products available to those in need across the state. Every day, the NH Food Bank receives donations of frozen meat and other frozen products that need to be sorted and categorized. Volunteers involved in this process inspect the meat for any signs of contamination or damaged packaging and sort all of the good products into boxes to be distributed to Food Bank agencies.
This task requires some bending, lifting up to 40 pounds, and standing for the duration of the activity. Fresh Rescue volunteer opportunities are available Monday-Friday 8:30am-11:30am and require 6-10 people per shift.
