Excellence for Detroit, an educational nonprofit specializing in college preparation, is currently seeking an ambitious young professional to help expand its financial resources. Interested applicants should possess the following qualifications:
- Develop both short term and long term strategies for monetary donations
- Develop and maintain database of donors
- Ability to generate income with limited resources
- Availability to attend special networking events and serve as a representative for the organization
- Flexibility to work independently and in consultation with the executive director and staff
- Desire to raise the educational standards for high school students
- Desire to help at risk youth achieve their college dreams and build life skill
Expected commitment: 5-6 hours a week.
