Boys Hope Girls Hope Baltimore is a 501(c)3 that helps academically capable and motivated children-in-need to meet their full potential by providing value-centered, family-like homes, opportunities and education through college. Our scholars are ages 11-18 and go to different middle schools and high schools throughout the city and county.
We are looking for volunteers to help with:
- Tutoring: We need help with variety of different subjects ranging from math, science, literature, writing, and other languages!
- Cooking meals: Our staff cooks breakfast and dinner for the scholars daily. Do you love cooking and have any dishes you would like to prepare here at the house, or drop off?
- Couponing: We are always looking for deals with groceries or events that we can take our scholars to. Help us find great deals in the area!
- Facilitating workshops: We're looking for people to come and talk to our staff and scholars about a variety of things and running different workshops. Interested in teaching us about anything or assisting with team-building?
- Maintenance around the house: Are you a handy man or a handy lady? We always need help around the house whether it's groundskeeping, fixing a leaky pipe or helping us keep the place tidy.
- Contact us about any other talents you have to offer! We're always looking for more volunteers.
