We're actively seeking a senior level process and quality improvement specialist for a community health center near Vista, CA to play an important role in our process improvement initiative. Focus on key projects to increase patient satisfaction, define and implement productivity increases, and reduce patient cycle time and clerical errors.

Key Responsibilities:
**
- Implement PDSAs to test new systems and institutionalize best practices within the organization.
- Reduce patient cycle time to reduce time in clinic, and increase patient satisfaction.
- Reduce errors in documentation which lead to claim payment denial or suspension.
- Increase compliance with a number of clinical quality indicators such as pap smear rates, immunization rates in children.
- Increase patient satisfaction as measured by VCC's Crossroad Surveys.
Key Accountabilities:
**
- Work with directors, managers, and other staff to identify operational inefficiencies, compliance issues, and quality improvement opportunities.
- Work with a variety of ad hoc teams to improve efficiencies, compliance and quality. These processes will be implemented and maintained through standardization, training, and monitoring processes.
- Lead the process improvement teams as well as participate on the teams.

- Travel to multiple clinic sites will be necessary. Must provide own transportation
- Work hours are flexible within the half-time yearlong time frame.
