Volunteer Opportunity with help2kids in Tanzania

We offer up to 18 volunteer placements at our non-profit organization in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania. Our volunteers have the choice to support either our children's home with 31 children or other community projects in the neighborhood (English- and IT-Tuition). We also offer volunteer placements at a local hospital for medically trained people (medical students, doctors or nurses).

Our volunteers can also benefit from special Swahili classes directly at our guest house. The language teacher comes around 1-2 times per week and after 1 month you will be already able to talk in Swahili on a basic level. This will help you to immerse yourself in Tanzanian life and to get the most out of your time here.

We offer a safe and comfortable accommodation at the Friendly Gecko Guest House. You will live just 5 minutes from the Idian Ocean and close to some of the most beautiful spots of Tanzania (the ferry to Zanzibar is just 30 minutes away by car). Our guest house in Dar es Salaam:
