Trekking and Volunteering Annapurna Base Camp

Volunteer will work for two weeks for the orphanage assistant program then one week for monastery in two different times. Both locations are located in Pokhara valley, the second largest city of Nepal. As a volunteer at the orphanage program you will be assisting orphanage children in their day to do program like dropping them to schools and helping in home work other creative activities like drawing, painting etc.

You will be accommodated at the orphanage home eating with children and other staff, get your own room and either sharing bathroom or own bath room that depends on orphanage home.

After completion Orphanage Assistant Program you will be escorted to the monastery where you will be teaching English to Buddhist Monk 4 to 5 hours a day. After finishing your class you will have time to play basket ball and soccer with monk or go to explore beautiful location around monastery.

PS- Candidate can choose program either two weeks monastery a week orphanage or vice versa. After completion volunteer program you will be escorted to Annapurna Base Camp trekking, the trekking schedule will look like as bellows.

After doing few days induction Volunteer will be placed at the helpless children home in assisting children who have lost their parents, parents are in jail, disable parents etc. As a volunteer for this program volunteer will support these less fortunate children in their day to day work like taking then to go to school, pick they up from school, helping in doing school home work, dancing, singing, and painting and sometimes in day off taking them to zoo, picnic, fun world and cinema too. Depending on volunteer interest if they like to help orphanage home in cooking cleaning eta then its big support to children home. Due to good schooling problem in rural area there is no orphanage home in rural location, however volunteer want to be placed in rural location then they will be set in public school. Public schools children from rural location deserve your support in getting new way to learn English from foreigner teacher.
