Freedom and Fashion is a fashion-oriented, creative arts ministry and organization that serves as a resource hub for fair-trade businesses and non-profit organizations working to combat modern-day slavery, human trafficking, child labor and human rights violations.

Interested in Volunteering for our Fashion Show or Conference? We're looking for mature, experienced and outgoing volunteers to join in with us to plan, prepare, and execute two consecutive days of profound discussion and elegant showcasing. There are two different volunteer positions available:

Foreground Logistics(for Fashion Show or Conference). Professional, Competent and Hospitable; Foreground Volunteers will be taking part in everything from assisting panel coordinating to assigned to host positions for our vendor partners. The conference component this year will add even greater to depth and importance of Foreground roles. We're excited to work with capable individuals to bring preparation to fruition.

Backstage Production. Fashion Show experience is a must. Backstage Volunteers will work with our Fashion Department as dressers, runners and more to put on a marvelous Fashion Show under the theme of "Ceremony".

We'll be setting aside three dynamics days to prep individuals for our Ceremony Fashion Show(3/22) and Collective Conference(3/23). Join us in this wonderfully unique opportunity to learn more about non-profits, faith and fashion by championing humanity's worth through arts and education.

CEREMONY RUNWAY SHOW

Freedom and Fashion's fourth annual fashion show, "CEREMONY," is about celebrating hope and redemption amidst the grave issue of modern-day slavery and human oppression. CEREMONY hopes to inspire positive change and mobilize its attendees into action--providing a message of beauty and victory, not just grim statistics or heavy information.

Los Angeles, CA (March 22, 2013) - Hundreds of reputable industry professionals, community partners, social justice advocates, and the general public will gather at the heart of Downtown L.A. Arts Districttocombat these social injustices through a highly anticipated outdoor runway show promoting socially-conscious merchandise. Attendees will have a chance to shop for these fair-trade and cause-centric products after the show, with purchasesthat directly support those working to end human trafficking and other human rights violations.

COLLECTIVE CONFERENCE

Los Angeles, CA (March 23, 2013) - With an expected attendance of 500-1000+ key influencers, the Freedom and Fashion Collective Conference will be the first ever social enterprise conference in Los Angeles, CA that will accelerate the fight against modern-day slavery through by:

UNITING leadership from the non-profit, fashion, business, creative and media industries, and the mass public to collaborate and devise social and economic solutions to the worldwide issue of human exploitation.

EQUIPPING activists and industry professionals with tools to effectively communicate and maximize the impact of conscious consumerism.

TRANSFORMING mainstream culture by re-defining the lifestyles we choose and the decisions we make in order to heal, inspire, and liberate.

Volunteer training dates are scheduled on the Saturdays of March 2, 9, and 16. Sessions will beapproximately four (4) hours from one (1) to five (5) PM unless otherwise notified. Exact time andlocation is to be determined. Tentative call times for the Ceremony Fashion Show(3/22) are set in the early afternoon and early morning for the Collective Conference(3/23).
