Since 1988 The Westlake of Catholic Housing Services has provided permanent, affordable residency to men over the age of 55. Through our program formerly chronically homeless men can find comfort in private, furnished rooms where they enjoy community activities and the company of other residents. The Westlake thrive to end homelessness and to give our residents peace of mind in starting anew with dignity.
We are currently seeking on-call drivers to support our residents by transporting them to doctor's appointments, grocery stores etc. We provide an agency van as well as insurance for volunteers. This is a very flexible volunteer opportunity and is based on your availabilities. Transportation is generally in and around the Seattle area.
Requirements:
- Must attend Volunteer Orientation
- Pass Washington State Background Check
- Clear Driving Record Check
- 21+ to Drive
- Have a Washington State Driver's License
