Mindful Schools (www.mindfulschools.org) is very much in need of a strong web site developer volunteer to help us with web site maintenance and a few small improvements.
We need someone who is very solid in HTML, CSS, and WordPress. Ability to work with images would be very helpful also.
We hope to find someone who is passionate about our mission, capable, and willing to commit to 6 months to a year or service.
Locality is NOT important for this position (we are based in Oakland, CA), as everything can be handled virtually. But the candidate must be strong in writing and speaking English.
This is a role that will make a tremendous impact for an organization that's working very hard to bring badly needed self-awareness, impulse control, calmness, and empathy skills to our youth.
