Description du poste bénévole

Vinfen Corporation, a private nonprofit human services organization based in Cambridge, Massachusetts is a leading mental health provider and is committed to making sure that the thousands of individuals in our care are treated with dignity and respect daily.

Vinfen is currently looking for new members to serve on Human Rights Committees located on the North Shore, South Shore and in the Metro Boston area.

We are seeking volunteers with varied backgrounds. Prospective committee members can be a parent/guardian of a person served or an advocate for individuals with disabilities. We are also in search of dedicated professionals in the following specialty areas:

- Nurses

- Psychologists

- Attorneys, paralegals, and law students

- Masters-level practicioners with relevant experience in the mental health field.

The Human Rights Committee meets on a quarterly basis. As a committee member, you will be asked to review and have oversight of the activities of the program that relate to the human rights of persons served by reviewing any incident reports that pertain to human rights violations, reviewing completed investigations and treatment plans with restrictions, and working closely with others to make sure our persons serves are well cared-for and safe. Training will be provided.
