Teach For Palestine (TFP) is an established NGO that has been working in the poorest areas of the West Bank for over three years. We are looking for motivated, enthusiastic teachers to work with us for three months beginning February 2013.
TFP works predominantly in the refugee camps and villages around the city of Nablus. We offer after school English instruction to at risk children. We use a modern, communicative approach with a focus on creative work and critical thinking that children have often not encountered in the classroom before. To learn more visit our website.
Volunteers will be offered shared accommodation and be provided with a small monthly stipend . Candidates should be keen to work with a variety of children in order to improve their life chances through education. Teaching qualifications and experience are preferable but not necessary as all teachers will be given thorough training upon arrival as well as ongoing professional support.
