Dates/Times: Either Monday (Seniors) or Wednesday (Juniors) Evenings, 6:30-8pm

South Bronx United is looking for highly motivated, energetic volunteers who want to make a difference in the lives of South Bronx youth and provide them with the tools necessary to graduate high school and attend college. College Prep Mentors are matched with SBU high school juniors or seniors as they prepare for SAT/ACT and navigate the college application process. Mentors working with HS Juniors focus primarily on SAT prep while mentors for HS Seniors primarily focus on assisting with applications. Both junior and senior mentors promote the importance of education and serve as positive role models in youths' lives.

South Bronx United Soccer Club uses soccer as a vehicle for social change. South Bronx United aims to help youth build character, teamwork, and leadership so that they can succeed in high school, college, careers, their community and beyond. South Bronx United strives to promote educational achievement, health and wellness, and character development through activities on and off the soccer field and to UNITE a diverse group of individuals and an incredibly diverse community toward common positive goals.
